PELICAN LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) — Two people were hurt in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning in Otter Tail County.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says it was called for a crash on Highway 9 on the west side of Pelican Lake around 2:10 a.m. Saturday. Deputies found a 41-year-old man from Monticello with a head injury and broken leg. A 37-year-old Lake Park woman also had a head and leg injury. She was flown by Life Link to a Fargo hospital. The man was brought to Essentia in Detroit Lakes.
Deputies determined the motorcycle was driving south on Highway 9 when it tipped and slid about 30 yards before going into the ditch. It is unclear if either rider was wearing a helmet, or if alcohol was involved.
