ABBA’s iconic hit Dancing Queen is getting a special vinyl reissue as the song approaches its 50th anniversary.
The new release is scheduled to arrive in August, marking five decades since the track first debuted in 1976. The anniversary edition will be available in two collectible formats, including a standard black vinyl version and a sparkling vinyl edition. Both feature a newly remastered recording completed at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Fans will also find a familiar addition on the B-side. The release includes La Reina Del Baile, the Spanish-language version of the song that introduced the classic hit to a broader international audience.
Dancing Queen remains one of ABBA’s most recognizable recordings and continues to attract new generations of listeners. The song served as the lead single from the group’s Arrival album and became a major success around the world. It also earned a place in the Grammy Hall of Fame, reflecting its lasting impact on popular music.
