(KNFL/KFGO/KVRR) – The Kindred Vikings football squad is having another one of their players going to a Division 1 school, this time to the ACC(Atlantic Coast Conference). Luke Starcevic, who has played tight end, offensive and defensive lineman for Kindred, has committed to play collegiate football with the Clemson Tigers. The 4-star recruit, who is part of the Class of 2027, will be committing to Clemson as an offensive lineman.
The 6’5 Luke Starcevic has proven to be one of the top players in the state of North Dakota. In his junior season, he was selected 1st Team All State, racking up 544 yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns. Defensively, Starcevic had 48 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 15.5 TFLs(tackles for loss). While playing on the offensive line, he put up 62 pancakes.
Luke Starcevic has accumulated 23 total Division 1 football offers. He has gotten offers from schools like NDSU, North Dakota, Penn State, Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, and Oklahoma. Luke’s older brother, Jake Starcevic, is set to play collegiate football as a linebacker for UND this fall. Luke Starcevic’s Kindred teammate, Brooks Bakko, who is also part of the Class of 2027, committed to the Minnesota Golden Gophers in April. Bakko is set to play alongside former Kindred Viking, Riley Sunram, in the fall of 2027.
