DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and other law enforcement officers made arrests on May 16 and 17 when they “executed a series of search warrants” in rural St. Louis County, Virginia and Gilbert.
Several people were taken into custody. It was part of a long-term drug investigation conducted by members of Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force.
Authorities say they seized approximately 19.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.2 pounds of cocaine and $21,761.00 in cash.
The sheriff’s office said it expects court appearances early this week.
