Lady Gaga introduced MAYHEM Requiem during a one-night-only screening in Los Angeles, giving fans a closer look at a new visual project built around songs from her album Mayhem.
At the event, Gaga explained that the idea behind the film was to take the album apart and rebuild it in a different form. The performances were filmed at the Wiltern theater and present the music with a darker, more stripped-down visual approach.
The project centers on themes of collapse, repair, and transformation. Instead of simply recreating the album on screen, MAYHEM Requiem reworks its material through staging, movement, and atmosphere.
Gaga also honored Alexander McQueen at the screening by wearing a vintage dress connected to the late designer’s work. The choice added another layer to the evening, reflecting the singer’s long connection to fashion, performance, and theatrical presentation.
MAYHEM Requiem is now available to stream on Apple Music.
