Semi trailer fire near Manvel ND, April 30, 2026.
MANVEL, N.D. (KFGO) – Southbound I-29 near Manvel, North Dakota was closed for about ten minutes this morning after a semi trailer caught fire.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the truck was carrying steel pipes and caught fire for an unknown reason. The driver pulled over and disconnected the trailer before it was fully engulfed in flames. The fire spread to grass in the ditch.
The Manvel Fire Department responded and extinguished the trailer and grass fire. There were no injuries in the incident.
