FARGO (KFGO) – A weekend downtown Fargo apartment fire is under investigation.
Crews were called to 14 Roberts Street around 4:10 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters saw smoke and flames from a window when they got there and called for a second alarm.
The Fire Department says crews had the fire extinguished within 10 minutes. The apartment the fire started in was vacant. Everyone else in the building made it out safely and no one was hurt.
The fire was contained to the one unit and no one is displaced. A damage estimate isn’t available.
The Fire Department responded with five engines, a ladder truck, and two command vehicles. The Fargo Police Department, Sanford Ambulance, and the Salvation Army assisted at the scene.
