Rufus Wainwright, Lucius, Lord Huron, and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas have been added to the lineup for the Concert for Altadena, a benefit show hosted by John C. Reilly on January 7 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium to support victims of last year’s deadly Eaton Fire. Organized by Dawes, whose members suffered substantial personal losses in the fire, the event also features artists like Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Aloe Blacc, Jackson Browne, Judith Hill, Jenny Lewis, Mandy Moore, Stephen Stills, Everclear, and more, with proceeds aiding the Altadena Builds Back Foundation to help rebuild homes destroyed in the L.A. wildfire that killed 19 people and devastated thousands of structures. “January 7th marks a year to the day that our sweet town got ravaged by the Eaton Fire,” Dawes wrote on Instagram, saying of the benefit show, “It’s gonna be a heavy night, but it’s going to be a beautiful one too.” (Billboard)
