Jeff Garcia, the voice actor who played Sheen in the Jimmy Neutron franchise, died December 10th at age 50. His son Jojo Garcia announced the death Wednesday on Instagram, calling his father “my hero” and praising his “love, compassion, and drive.” Garcia voiced Sheen in the 2001 film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and continued the role for 59 episodes of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius TV series. He later starred in the 2010 spinoff Planet Sheen for 26 episodes. Garcia also appeared in Barnyard, Back At The Barnyard, Happy Feet films, and Rio movies while working as a stand-up comedian. Co-star Debi Derryberry, who voiced Jimmy Neutron, honored Garcia on Instagram, writing “He was always the funniest man in the room.” Garcia’s official cause of death has not yet been revealed, but he was hospitalized with a collapsed lung earlier this week.
