Pantone announced Thursday that Cloud Dancer, designated PANTONE 11-4201, will serve as 2026’s Color Of The Year. The global color authority described the serene white neutral as “a lofty white neutral whose aerated presence acts as a whisper of calm and peace in a noisy world.” According to Pantone, Cloud Dancer “symbolizes a calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection” and “drifts between light and ethereal, a living calm that invites renewal, vision in serenity and creative release.” The company’s global team of color experts analyzes influences including film, fashion, technology, and social media to make their annual selection. Pantone has chosen a defining color each year since 1999. Last year’s winner was Mocha Mousse, while 2024 featured Peach Fuzz. (Story URL)
