Apple released its 2025 podcast rankings Tuesday, showing “The Joe Rogan Experience” as the year’s most popular show based on global listener data. Rogan displaced “The Daily” from The New York Times, which dropped to second place, while “The Mel Robbins Podcast” ranked third. Rogan’s episode featuring Elon Musk became the fourth most-listened episode of 2025. His Spotify exclusivity deal ended in February 2024, though he reportedly signed a new $250 million agreement with the platform in early 2024. Half the top shows came from SiriusXM, including Robbins, “Crime Junkie,” Dateline NBC, “SmartLess” and “Call Her Daddy.” The Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” episode with Taylor Swift placed in the top three most-heard episodes. “The Telepathy Tapes” episode on telepathic communication led individual episode rankings.
