Police in Farmington New Mexico are investigating claims by Jason Rothe, a 51-year-old Colorado resident, who reported being stabbed by syringes taped to a Walmart toilet last month. Rothe told officers he “immediately sat down on the toilet and felt the syringes against his skin” after entering a stall recently used by someone wearing a shirt with a “demonic symbol on it.” The syringes contained pink fluid and were attached with medical tape. Rothe photographed the evidence but said “Walmart staff did not appear to care about the situation.” Store surveillance footage revealed no suspects. Initial testing on the syringe contents proved inconclusive, with further analysis pending at the state forensics lab. The case status is currently “Inactive.” Rothe told the Tri-City Record: “Pay attention to your surroundings, people. There’s demons out there everywhere.” (Story URL)
