New research reveals nearly one-third of adults could suffer from sleep problems. The survey of 2,000 people found 21 percent have moderate sleep concerns, while 9 percent show significant issues. Key problems include 30 percent waking multiple times nightly and 14 percent taking over 30 minutes to fall asleep. Sleep expert Kathryn Pinkham said: “It’s a real concern that sleep problems have never been greater, yet the advice so often shared doesn’t address the root causes.” Health worries keep 34 percent awake, followed by financial concerns at 28 percent. Poor sleep causes headaches in 40 percent of respondents and reduces productivity for the same number. Despite 57 percent believing sleep maintains healthy lifestyles, 24 percent accept constant tiredness as normal. (Story URL)
