Outer Banks stars Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline intervened when co-creator Jonas Pate allegedly grabbed and shook a production assistant while filming in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The 33-year-old Stokes separated Pate from the assistant after he allegedly put his hands on her and shouted in her face. Cline, 27, also helped de-escalate the situation. TMZ reported that filming continued following the alleged incident, with sources claiming “tensions were high” on set but describing the outburst as not “unusual behavior” for Pate. The Netflix series, which debuted in 2020, will conclude after season 5. Pate also serves as creator of Prime Video’s The Runarounds and is developing an Outer Banks prequel titled Kildare.
