Halloween ranks as the second most beloved family event following Christmas. A survey of 2,000 parents with children ages 3 to 13, finding 89% favor Christmas while 45% embrace Halloween celebrations. Families spend an average of nearly 23 hours preparing for October 31st activities. Research shows 72% go “all out” with costumes, trick-or-treating, and parties. Parents dedicate almost three hours planning food and three hours creating outfits. One-fifth host Halloween parties featuring themed games for roughly 14 guests.
