Darius McCrary was arrested Sunday near the U.S.-Mexico border in San Diego after being declared a fugitive. The former Family Matters actor faces a felony warrant for missing a court appearance related to unpaid child support in Michigan. McCrary’s representative Ann Barlow told EW: “He did not know at the time that he had a warrant, or he would have taken care of it.” She explained McCrary was traveling to Tijuana for a real estate partnership building homes for the homeless, saying “Mr. McCrary was there to speak encouragement and light to the homeless.” He remains in custody without bail with a Wednesday court hearing scheduled. It’s his third arrest in the past decade. (Story URL)
