GRAFTON, N.D. (KFGO) – The state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating a death at the Walsh County jail Sunday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says shortly after 10:30 a.m., correctional officers noticed an inmate suffering from what appeared to be a medical emergency. The correctional officers and deputies began life-saving efforts. They called for help from the Walsh County Paramedic, and Valley Ambulance and Rescue Service, but the man died.
The inmate’s name has not been released. The Sheriff’s Office says more information will be released as it comes available.
