Wedding shooting suspect arrested (Ramsey Co. Sheriff's Office)
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – The best man at a wedding last weekend in Maplewood has been arrested for shooting another person who attended the ceremony.
Police say the suspect shot the wedding guest in both legs Saturday. They say it came during an argument at a park where the reception was underway.
The 36-year-old victim was taken to a hospital and is recovering.
The 34-year-old South St. Paul man accused in the shooting was arrested by police and Ramsey County deputies Wednesday evening in St. Paul. He was in a parked pickup. Two guns were seized from the pickup. One of the guns was stolen.
Charges are pending.
