William Shatner used social media on Thursday to address reports about his hospitalization. The 94-year-old actor posted on Instagram: “Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!” He added, “I over indulged. I thank you all for caring but I’m perfectly fine. I keep telling you all: don’t trust tabloids or AI!” TMZ had reported on Wednesday that Shatner was rushed to a hospital due to a medical emergency. But his agent Harry Gold later confirmed Shatner experienced “an issue with his blood sugar” at his Los Angeles home. He was taken to a local hospital as a precaution but discharged the same day after monitoring. The Star Trek actor continues working on projects including the upcoming holiday series Family Tree, which he created with Tom Bergeron. (Story URL)
