Drake has offered a first look at Fear of Missing Out, a new film project set to premiere on YouTube on September 15 at 9 p.m. ET. The newly released 25-second teaser gives fans a brief glimpse of what he has been preparing after days of speculation around the project.
In the preview, Drake appears to drive a neon green speedboat while a female narrator reflects on two possible ways of living. One involves avoiding risk and connection, while the other centers on pursuing the things a person has been searching for.
Drake has described Fear of Missing Out as a not-so-short film, with the project directed and scored by members of his team. Before its format was revealed, the FOMO rollout had prompted speculation about whether it might involve new music, a visual project, or another announcement.
The film arrives during an active year for Drake, following several 2026 releases including ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR.
