A public memorial service celebrating the life of Oliver Tree will be livestreamed on July 25, giving fans around the world an opportunity to take part in honoring the late singer. The announcement follows Tree’s death on June 14, 2026, at the age of 32 after a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The service will take place at the UCSC Quarry Amphitheater on the University of California, Santa Cruz campus, the artist’s hometown. Organizers said the venue has limited seating reserved for family, close friends, and invited guests, making the livestream the primary way for many fans to participate. Additional viewing details are expected to be announced before the event.
Oliver Tree became known for blending alternative music, pop, and electronic influences with a distinctive visual style that helped build a dedicated global following. His creative approach extended beyond music into videos, live performances, and multimedia projects that set him apart throughout his career.
The family has also asked supporters to consider donating to Dr. Oliver Tree’s Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses instead of sending flowers. The initiative, which Tree envisioned before his death, was created to help provide opportunities for young artists and continue supporting creative talent in the years ahead.
