Alex Warren has been named Billboard’s Top New Artist of 2025 after a breakout year highlighted by his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Ordinary,” which spent 10 weeks atop the chart. The 25-year-old singer-songwriter’s Top 10-charting debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 back in August, and came in at No. 26 on the year-end albums list. During the 2025 chart year, Warren placed five songs on the Hot 100, including “Burning Down,” “Bloodline” (with Jelly Roll), “On My Mind” (with ROSÉ), and “Eternity,” with “Ordinary” finishing at No. 7 on the year-end Hot 100 Songs chart. Warren joins some prestigious company by being awarded Billboard’s Top New Artist, as recent winners include Chappell Roan (2024), Zach Bryan (2023), Latto (2022), Olivia Rodrigo (2021) and Roddy Ricch (2020).
