KPop Demon Hunters has earned three Golden Globe nominations, including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Golden,” performed by HUNTR/X and co-written by EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, DO, 24, and Teddy. EJAE makes history by becoming the first Korean American nominated for a Golden Globe in the original song category, where “Golden” competes alongside fellow nominees “Dream as One” by Miley Cyrus from Avatar: Fire and Ash, “I Lied to You” by Miles Caton from Sinners, “No Place Like Home” by Cynthia Erivo from Wicked: For Good, “The Girl in the Bubble” by Ariana Grande from Wicked: For Good, and “Train Dreams” by Nick Cave and Bryce Dessner from Train Dreams. Demon Hunters’ Emmy nominations follow the project’s three recent Grammy nods, including Song of the Year for “Golden,” with EJAE saying of the acclaim, “It feels incredible. The amount of love we’re getting from fans, and just being able to be recognized by literally everyone has been such an honor and a surreal feeling.” (Variety)
