The film is directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Productions and Silent House Productions, and it captures the emotional last performance of her record-breaking Eras Tour in Vancouver on December 8. “We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour and we get to play one last show for you here tonight,” Swift shares with the audience in the trailer. “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.” The release coincides with the debut of the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a six-part docuseries also on Disney+ that offers behind-the-scenes footage of tour rehearsals with surprise guest appearances and insights into Swift’s personal life.
