Paul Susie faces assault charges after allegedly brandishing a firearm at three 12-year-old girls caroling in Annapolis, Maryland. Anne Arundel County police say the girls knocked twice on Susie’s door and announced they were caroling when he appeared at a bay window and pointed a gun at them. The children fled immediately, and one girl’s mother contacted authorities. Court documents show Susie and his wife were watching television when the girls arrived, and officers described him as intoxicated and “belligerent” during his arrest. Police say Susie admitted to pulling the gun on the children. He’s charged with first- and second-degree assault. (Story URL)
