Benson Boone humorously reacted to being snubbed by the 2026 Grammy nominations, joking on Instagram that his hit song “Mystical Magical” deserved recognition. “Can’t believe moonbeam ice cream didn’t get a Grammy nom,” Boone said in reference to the song’s memorable, meme-worthy lyric, while adding, “it’s literally pure lyrical genius.” Despite the success of his album, American Heart, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured multiple Hot 100 hits, including “Mystical Magical” (No. 17), Boone received no nominations this year. Though the singer was nominated for Best New Artist in 2025 in a stacked category featuring fellow nominees Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Khruangbin, RAYE, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims, with the coveted award eventually going to Chappell Roan. Boone is currently wrapping up his European tour, with a final show scheduled for November 18 in Stockholm. (Billboard)
