ABC has greenlit a new game show hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze called The Greatest Average American, premiering February 25th. The series will challenge contestants to “guess how everyday Americans think and live” through trivia questions and challenges. Winners receive $67,920 in cash, matching the average annual U.S. salary. The show shares its title with Bargatze’s 2021 Netflix special. It will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m., following the Scrubs revival premiere. Bargatze, who hosted the Emmys in September and is currently the world’s highest-earning touring comedian with over one million tickets sold in 2024, will also executive produce the show. (Story URL)
