Orange County Fire Rescue firefighter Gabrielle Franze faces two misdemeanor stalking charges after allegedly dumping 75 tampons on her ex-boyfriend’s lawn in DeLand, Florida. The couple discovered the red-stained tampons on September 30th and told Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies they appeared “possibly used.” Security footage from September 29th showed a pickup truck approaching the home around 10 p.m., with a woman jumping from the truck bed to throw the items. When confronted, Franze initially denied knowing her ex’s address but later admitted to the act. She told police “it was not her idea” and blamed her visiting mother and aunt for planning the scheme. Franze said the trio purchased tampons and painted them red before driving to the house together. Police called the incident harassment with no “legitimate purpose.” (Story URL)
