Lisa Catalano, 42, launched digital billboards along Highway 101 between Santa Clara and South San Francisco advertising her dating website MarryLisa.com. The San Francisco Bay Area native created the application site in June after growing frustrated with dating apps. “I think that there’s a guy out there who’s a perfect fit for me, and I think I’m a perfect fit for him,” Catalano says. “We just have not connected yet.” The billboards went live September 2nd and she has received approximately 1,800 responses from men aged 19 to 78. Catalano became single after her fiancé died in 2023 following a terminal illness battle. She seeks a committed, monogamous relationship with someone wanting to start a family. “I never expected I would do something like this in my life,” Catalano admits. “I’m almost in shock that I did it, really.” (Story URL)
