During her headlining set at the Austin City Limits Festival on Saturday night (October 4), Sabrina Carpenter surprised fans by bringing out Shania Twain to perform a duet of the country superstar’s 1998 hit, “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Carpenter had previously covered Twain’s Top 10 smash throughout her Short n’ Sweet Tour, and she introduced the collaboration by announcing to the crowd: “I thought it’d be fun to give you guys a little gift tonight. Give you a little present because you all showed up and showed out for all of us. Will you please make the most noise in the world for the incredible, one and only Shania Twain?” This live pairing marked a memorable reunion for Twain and Carpenter, following the duo’s acoustic rendition of “Santa Baby” during Sabrina’s 2024 Netflix holiday special, A Nonsense Christmas. Carpenter will return for a second ACL headlining show this weekend, and is set to make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Tuesday (October 7). (Rolling Stone)
