A Connecticut man known as the “Croc King” has earned a Guinness World Record for the largest collection of Crocs, with over 3,800 pairs as of August 2025. Doogie Sandtiger began collecting the footwear at age 16 due to a lack of shoe-tying skills from his childhood in foster care. His original goal was 366 pairs, but the collection has grown exponentially. Sandtiger was officially recognized for 3,569 pairs in late 2024, but the number has continued rising. He hopes to eventually open a “Crocseum” to display his extensive Crocs collection, which he says reflects his lifelong passion for the popular foam clogs. (UPI)
