A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the ongoing incidents of sex toys being thrown onto the court during WNBA games. 18-year-old Kaden Lopez was taken into custody after police say he threw a green sex toy during a matchup between the Phoenix Mercury and Connecticut Suns on August 5th. Footage shows the “green dildo” hitting a man and his 9-year-old niece before Lopez exited the stands. According to court documents, Lopez had purchased the sex toy the day prior with the intention of bringing it to the game as part of a “stupid prank that was trending on social media.” This incident marked the fifth known time a sex toy has been thrown at a WNBA game. Lopez was booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault, and public display of explicit sexual material. (People)
