Comedian Katt Williams is set to join the PGA Tour as an on-course correspondent during the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. Williams will work alongside ESPN analyst Michael Collins, providing color commentary and comedic relief. This gig represents an upgrade from Williams’ previous guest appearance at the 2024 Tour Championship, where he joined Collins for a few holes. The PGA Tour aims to attract a new audience with Williams’ involvement, as the comedian is a self-proclaimed golf enthusiast. Despite carrying a high 19 handicap, which he attributes to a past rotator cuff injury, Williams claims to regularly shoot in the low 80s. He will be on-site for the first two rounds of the FedEx St. Jude Championship, following the marquee group, before the tournament continues without him through the weekend. (THR)
