Airbnb and Paramount are collaborating to offer a unique Smurf-themed experience in Belgium. Fans of the franchise will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beloved blue world. The four-hour experience will be hosted by Nicolas Tytgat, the grandson of Smurf creator Peyo. Guests will tour Papa Smurf’s mushroom-style home and customize iconic Smurf hats. Outdoor activities include exploring the enchanted forest and learning a “soon-to-be-viral” dance from a Smurf-trained choreographer. Attendees will also enjoy a Smurf-style picnic with Smurfberry-flavored treats and drinks. “I’m proud to carry on [Peyo’s] legacy by bringing the Smurf’s blue magic to life,” Tytgat stated. Bookings open on July 16th, with Airbnb offering two free sessions for families on August 9. The experience coincides with the global release of the new Smurfs movie, starring Rihanna as Smurfette.
