The upcoming Peacock series, Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together, is set to premiere on June 26, and will provide fans with an intimate look into the lives of the newlywed couple as they navigate parenthood and their careers. The eight-episode series promises to showcase the “superstar music couple’s” journey as they “rekindle their love, navigate the ups and downs of being newlyweds and new parents, and juggle their careers.” The newly-released promotional trailer for the show offers a personal glimpse into the couple’s relationship, with the series set to focus on their breakup, reunion, and eventual parenthood. “With our lives moving so fast, we’re not perfect,” Nelly says in the clip. “But we can work our way through it.” Nelly and Ashanti are both executive producers on the project, along with Jenny Daly, Lauren Lazin, and J Erving, with Oji Singletary as the showrunner.
