Jack Black is set to receive the prestigious King of Comedy Award at the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, making him only the second person to earn this honor after Adam Sandler was recognized in 2023. Black will accept the Silver Blimp trophy live on stage at the Baker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on June 21, during the annual awards show that will be simulcast across Nickelodeon’s global network. The acclaimed actor and comedian is being celebrated for his extensive work spanning film, television, and music. Black previously won a Kids’ Choice Award for voicing Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and for Kung Fu Panda, and he has also hosted the show three times. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Tyla, with additional talent in attendance including KATSEYE, Alex Warren, Auli’i Cravalho, and many more. (Variety)
