Charli XCX fulfilled a career dream by joining French duo Air on stage on Saturday (June 7) at the We Love Green festival in Paris, performing their 2004 track “Cherry Blossom Girl.” That same day, Charli also celebrated the one-year anniversary of her trendsetting album, Brat, with Air fittingly lighting their stage in Brat green during Charli’s performance of their Talkie Walkie track. Charli took to social media after making her captivating cameo, sharing a video of the surprise collaboration while captioning the post, “dreams come true <3.” On Thursday (June 5), Charli headlined the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona – and is set to do so again on June 12 in Porto, Portugal – as part of her European tour, which includes appearances at festivals like Roskilde, Oya, and Way Out West. During a recent appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, Charli has dismissed industry expectations about her much-anticipated follow-up album, saying “I don’t really feel the pressure to create another record like Brat.” (Rolling Stone)
