A 24-year old Swedish mother was convicted of harassment after cracking an egg on her daughter’s head for a TikTok video. The trend of parents cracking eggs on their small children’s heads took off in 2023. While many saw this as harmless, others did not agree. “To record and humiliate the child and then broadcast it to thousands of viewers – I find that incredibly degrading, and that’s my personal opinion,” prosecutor Cecilia Andersson said.
