Kohl’s has let go of new CEO Ashley Buchanan due to “highly unusual” business deals with a romantic partner, according to a recently released report. The company said Buchanan directed the department store chain to “engage in vendor transactions that involved undisclosed conflicts of interest.” This conflict involved Chandra Holt, who met Buchanan as a colleague at Walmart. Holt is founder of Incredibrew, a coffee brand. “I’ve known Ashley Buchanan for 10 years, but I have not received any compensation for my Incredibrew business from Kohl’s,” Holt said. (NY Post)
