Mississippi Man Hands Cop Weed, Busted With $200K in Drugs
When police talk about suspects making their job easy, this is exactly what they mean. Carl Dimino, 58, is behind bars after what started as a routine traffic stop turned into a full-on psychedelic piñata of illegal drugs. Pulled over on Highway 49, Dimino admitted to smoking weed and then handed the officer the joint. That’s right. No excuses. No hiding. Just, “Here ya go, officer.”
That was all the probable cause the officer needed. A search of the vehicle revealed: 120 ecstasy pills, 3+ pounds of pure MDMA, 5 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms, 12 vials of LSD, nearly half a pound of marijuana, two digital scales.
Police estimate the street value of the haul at around $200,000, which puts “casual smoker” way out of reach.
Dimino, who’s no stranger to a booking photo, has over 20 prior arrests and a dozen felony convictions across seven states. Honestly, the only thing more impressive than that rap sheet is the fact he’s still legally allowed to drive.
He’s now facing serious drug trafficking charges, and something tells us he’s not gonna talk his way out of this one with a smile and a joint.
