Florida Man Denied a Job Interview Throws Some Urine
Some people send a thank-you email after being rejected for a job. John Connaughton? He allegedly launched a full-scale urine assault.
The 51-year-old Florida man is facing a cocktail of charges – including felony battery, criminal mischief, and aggravated assault – after reportedly getting turned down for a job interview at Doors, Moulding & More and deciding to express his frustration the only way he knew how: by hurling bottles of his own pee into the business.
According to police, Connaughton filled multiple bottles with urine, showed up at the company’s front entrance, and splashed the contents inside, soaking both merchandise (valued at over $1,000) and the bare legs of an unlucky employee. Naturally, chaos ensued.
The smell wasn’t the only thing that lingered. Connaughton fled on foot, and when one of the employees gave chase, he allegedly raised a skateboard in a threatening manner, like a deranged Tony Hawk, but with worse hygiene.
Police also noted that Connaughton is a registered sex offender.
