Florida Principal Busted For Using Walmart’s Famous ‘Foam Plate Hack’ To Steal Bacon & Shrimp
Just because your friends do it, doesn’t mean you should. That’s usually advice from a principal… not about a principal.
A Florida middle school principal has been placed on leave after getting caught using a shoplifting hack he learned from his buddies at Walmart.
Gregory Lewis, principal at Bok Academy North in Polk County, tried to pull the ol’ “foam plate skip scan” trick — sliding cheap items like disposable plates over more expensive stuff like bacon, shrimp, and light bulbs at the self-checkout.
Walmart security caught on quick, realizing Lewis was trying to steal $37.45 worth of groceries using the sneaky scan method.
When cops confronted him, Lewis straight-up admitted it, and said he thought he would try it out after his friends taught him how they shoplifted using the tactic
Turns out, what he couldn’t get away with was breaking the law while being the leader of a school full of kids who definitely know better.
Lewis was arrested and placed on leave while the school investigates. Meanwhile, parents and teachers are sitting there like… Really? Over shrimp and bacon??
