Man Busted for Putting ‘Superglue’ in Co-Worker’s Soda—Caught on Camera
A Wisconsin State Fair vendor is facing felony charges after allegedly spiking his co-worker’s Coca-Cola with superglue—and getting caught red-handed on camera.
The victim had noticed a “strong chemical smell and taste” in her drinks over the past couple of weeks and even got sick after consuming them. Suspicious, she set up a surveillance camera at her desk.
What she saw confirmed her worst fears. The footage captured Joseph Ross tampering with her soda.
When confronted by State Fair Park Police, Ross tried to downplay his actions, claiming he was adding a ‘supplement’ to her drink. But investigators weren’t buying it.
A search of Ross’s desk uncovered clear protective gloves and an open container of Gorilla Brand Super Glue, conveniently tossed in a nearby trash can.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has now charged Ross with a felony count of placing foreign objects in edibles.
Police have since sent the contaminated beverage to the Wisconsin Crime Lab for testing. As for Ross’s motive? That remains a mystery.
Ross is due back in court on April 3 for a preliminary hearing.
