WalletHub’s newly released list of the Best and Worst States for Singles sheds light on which areas of the country are most dating-friendly. They analyzed 29 factors that impact single life, including:

So, where should singles consider living in 2025?
Best State for Singles: Florida takes the crown as the top state for singles, with its abundance of attractions and vibrant dating scene. From Disney dates to beachside meetups, the Sunshine State offers plenty of opportunities for romance.
Worst State for Singles: At the opposite end of the spectrum is West Virginia, which landed dead last, making it the toughest state for singles.
And, for those of us here in North Dakota? We didn’t fare too well. North Dakota landed as the third worst state for singles, which may not come as a huge surprise to locals. Between the cold winters and a smaller population, finding your soulmate here can be a bit of a challenge.
