Yankees Fan Pulls Wedding Fund for World Series Tickets
Is a wedding more important than a Yankees-Dodgers World Series game? For Yankees superfan Raymond Perez, the answer is a clear “no.”
Perez recently revealed that he dipped into his wedding savings to buy four tickets, costing a total of $9,400, that is $2,360 per seat, to catch a game in the upcoming World Series. Luckily, he got his fiancée’s blessing before making the splurge!
As the Yankees make their first World Series appearance in 15 years, facing off against the Dodgers, diehard fans are scrambling for a spot in the stadium. The 2024 World Series opens on Friday, Oct. 25, at Dodger Stadium. But one question remains, is the wife going? That never got addressed but I sure hope so!
