Woman Attacks 10-Year-Old Boy & Bites Cop At Public Pool
A Philadelphia woman, Fallan Turner, 43, is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting several people, including a child, and causing a commotion at the pool. The incident unfolded around 2:30 p.m. on Monday when police officers responded to reports of a fight.
Witnesses described Turner as “highly intoxicated” and “out of control” in the pool. She allegedly grabbed a 10-year-old boy, unrelated to her, and swung him around in the pool, dunking him underwater. When the child’s father tried to intervene, Turner reportedly jumped on his back and grabbed him inappropriately.
Officers attempted to speak with Turner about the incident, but she became belligerent and was placed under arrest. While being handcuffed, she allegedly pushed the arresting officer in the face. At the police headquarters, Turner continued to be uncooperative and combative, even biting an officer’s hand. Fortunately, neither officer sustained significant injuries.
A bystander reported seeing Turner drinking tequila throughout the day, which likely contributed to her erratic behavior. Turner is currently being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility, facing charges including endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault on law enforcement, disorderly conduct, and criminal sexual contact.
