ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (KFGO) – Police in Alexandria continue to investigate a bank robbery there Thursday afternoon.
According to the Alexandria Police Department, shortly before 4:30 p.m., a man walked into the downtown Bremer Bank location, showed a teller a gun, and demanded money.
No one was hurt and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Responding officers set up a perimeter and a K-9 was used, but they weren’t able to find the suspect.
Thursday night, the Douglas County SWAT team and other officers conducted a search warrant at an apartment building in Alexandria, but no arrests have been made.
The FBI is assisting with the investigation, and more information is expected Friday.
