MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – Minot police responded to a car crashing into a care facility yesterday just before 2 in the morning.
Reports show an SUV crashed into a Maple View Memory Care building at 2805 Elk Drive in Minot.
Anthony Ramirez, 25, of Minot, was driving an SUV. Ramirez was traveling westbound on Burdick, then crossed lanes of traffic on the 2/52 bypass, struck the building, and came to rest diagonally across two residents’ rooms.
Both residents, an 81-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman, both of Minot, were asleep inside their rooms when the crash occurred. No injuries were reported.
Ramirez is charged with two counts, Felony Reckless Endangerment and a Misdemeanor DUI 1st Offense. Ramirez did not sustain injuries in the crash and was transported to the Ward County Jail.
