GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics) – It’s tournament time. No. 2 seed North Dakota will make its 35th appearance in the NCAA Tournament on Friday evening against third-seeded Michigan in the Maryland Heights Regional Semifinals from Centene Community Ice Center in Missouri.

Friday will be the 92nd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Michigan, with the Wolverines holding a slight 46-41-4 advantage in the series.
This will be the sixth time the programs have played in the NCAA Tournament, with UND claiming three of the first five showdowns.
The two sides have not played since the 2015-16 season, when North Dakota advanced to the Frozen Four with a 5-2 win over Michigan in the regional final.
