MANKATO, Minn. – A Mankato teen arrested in Breckenridge Friday is facing a murder charge for a shooting in Mankato last Thursday.
Emmanuel Isaac, 17, was charged with second-degree murder with intent Tuesday in Blue Earth County court.
Investigators say Isaac shot and killed 19-year-old Marcus Cargill, Jr. after a heated argument. Officers found Cargill suffering from gunshot wounds. He died in a hospital Friday.
After Isaac was arrested at a home in Breckenridge, investigators found the gun used in the shooting.
Two other suspects will also face charges for aiding an offender trying to escape arrest.
